I don’t know what it is about the crazy HBO show True Blood that keeps me coming back to watch it. It’s not the best show ever HBO has had. It can look cheesy and jive at times. The southern accents are fake and there are so many stereotypical characters I’ve lost count of them.

Even with all of the negatives, I’m drawn to the characters. I crack up at them. The story and subplots are good and there’s always just the right amount of tension and suspense. I think I’ve always liked vampire movies even though I get scared. Heck, I was turned on to them way back in the 80’s when I saw The Lost Boys with Corey Haim and Corey Feldman. I wonder whatever happened to those guys. I’m going to have to look them up.
