The writing of the characters is superb. The content of the script is 100% on point. I have no complaints. Nothing bad to say. This movie is exciting, fun, action packed. The special effects get a serious high five.
Ironman begins when Tony sells his latest weaponry invention during a trip to the Middle East. But, his vehicle and military escort gets fatally attacked by terrorists and he is taken and held hostage. He is commanded to build a destructive assault weapon they know only he can construct. Instead, he takes every minute he can to assemble an iron suit that is protected from bullets and fire to make his great escape. Once he succeeds and is back home, he opts to change his life and also finds out that his company’s weapons are being sold and used by enemy countries. Tony works diligently, day and night to make a new and improved iron suit to fight the diabolical plans of the terrorists.
Tony Stark’s character takes on so many lives. He is a 5 dimensional character. He is arrogant, intelligent, driven, charismatic, caring, inventive, comical, witty, loyal. Every act gives birth to a new Tony Stark’s character.
This movie truly surpassed my expectations. When I saw the trailer, I wasn’t that impressed. It didn’t give the movie it’s just do. Oh no. And you can't beat the cast, Terrence Howard (The Brave One and Hustle and Flow) as Col James Rhodes Tony Starks best friend, Gyneth Paltrow (Shallow Hal and Running With Scissors) as Pepper Potts, Tony Starks personal assistant and Jeff Bridges (Seabiscuit) as Obadiah Stane.
